Rosendahl Watches is part of the Rosendahl A/S design company.
As a Danish company, our day-to-day work of maintaining and creating is very much influenced by minimalist and Scandinavian design traditions.
But as the world fills up with more and more products, we also recognise that people today are interested in the reason, the substance, the message – indeed, the story behind the design.
Design philosophy
We seek out the essence of the product. That means we believe it is important for there to be a clear link between the reason for the particular product and its aesthetic appearance.
Our customers must be able to perceive the idea behind the product – see it and understand it. It is not our philosophy to dream up an exotic piece of fiction and serve it up to the customer on the wrist of a film star. On the contrary, we believe there is a need to pare things to the bone and let the product tell its own story – in an attractive way.
We choose our partners, designers, sports professionals and suppliers based on their values, their drive to create and their involvement throughout the process – from the initial idea to the finished product.
Every day we aim to challenge and be challenged so that together we can focus more and more on a holistic orientation in the development of our products.
This is about going above and beyond good design. It is about quality, responsible production, environmental concerns and marketing integrity. In short – the entire product cycle.
